Connect your Zillow single-family contract with RentEngine

If you have a paid Zillow Single-Family contract, follow these steps to connect it to RentEngine so your listings syndicate from a single source and avoid duplicates or blocks.

When is this required?

When your rentals are covered under a Zillow Single-Family advertising contract and you want Zillow to publish them via the RentEngine feed.

Important: Do not post the same listings directly in Zillow/Zillow Rental Manager or via another feed (e.g., PMS/MLS/previous vendor). Multiple sources can cause blocks or “duplicate” declines. Keep RentEngine as your only syndication source.

Step 1 — Email your Zillow representative (CC RentEngine)

Send your Zillow rep a brief email and CC [alex@rentengine.io]() and [isaac@rentengine.io]().

This message must come from you (the contract holder).

Subject: Single Family Syndication – RentEngine Feed Authorization

Message:

Hi there,

We have a paid Zillow Single-Family contract and would like all rental listings to be syndicated via the RentEngine feed going forward.

Here are a few example properties:

[Insert a few addresses here]

Please let us know if anything else is needed to move forward.

Thanks,

[Your Name]

Step 2 — RentEngine replies with technical details

We’ll reply on the same thread with property IDs (and any additional metadata Zillow requests). No further action is required from you in this step.

Step 3 — Zillow confirms the change

Zillow will confirm once the feed is switched. Your listings will then publish from RentEngine only.

If your Zillow rep asks whether to keep any other feeds (AppFolio, Rentvine, MLS, prior provider), confirm that listings should come from RentEngine only and that other feeds should remain disconnected.
