Update the map location for my Zillow listing

Sometimes Zillow places a listing in the wrong spot on the map. This usually happens with new construction, newly assigned addresses, or when third-party data uses parcel-level geocoding (pin drops in the center of a large lot). It can also occur if a unit/suite number is missing or an address hasn’t fully propagated to postal/mapper databases.

What you should send to RentEngine

  1. Open Google Maps and search the property.
  2. If the pin isn’t exactly right, long-press to drop a pin where it should be (ideally the main entrance or leasing office).
  3. Tap Share and copy the maps.google.com link.
  4. Paste that link in the RentEngine Support chat with the property address or ID.


What we’ll do

  • RentEngine submits the corrected geolocation to Zillow tied to your listing.
  • Zillow updates the map pin based on those coordinates.
