Update the map location for my Zillow listing
Sometimes Zillow places a listing in the wrong spot on the map. This usually happens with new construction, newly assigned addresses, or when third-party data uses parcel-level geocoding (pin drops in the center of a large lot). It can also occur if a unit/suite number is missing or an address hasn’t fully propagated to postal/mapper databases.
What you should send to RentEngine
- Open Google Maps and search the property.
- If the pin isn’t exactly right, long-press to drop a pin where it should be (ideally the main entrance or leasing office).
- Tap Share and copy the maps.google.com link.
- Paste that link in the RentEngine Support chat with the property address or ID.
What we’ll do
- RentEngine submits the corrected geolocation to Zillow tied to your listing.
- Zillow updates the map pin based on those coordinates.
