Why is Zillow keeping an old “off-market” or “for sale” listing

Sometimes you’ll search an address on Google and see a Zillow page marked “Off market” or tied to an old for-sale listing. That page is an archived Zillow record—Zillow keeps one for every property to show Zestimate history and past photos. Google often indexes those archived pages and may rank them above the live rental listing.
