Overview
Special offers help your listing stand out and increase conversion rates. This guide shows you how to add and display special offers, and how to notify interested leads about them.
How to add a special offer
Special offers are created in the property editing flow:
Go to the Properties tab
Click Take Action > Edit Property
Press "Next" until your reach Step 3 (Price)
Click "Add Special Offer"
Add a description and date range
Notify active leads about the offer
After you save the special offer, you'll be asked if you want to text your active leads about it:
Check "Text active leads about this offer"
Edit the message if needed
Click "Confirm" to send
To change the default wording, go to Settings > Communication > Messages and edit the "Special Offer Alert" template.
Where special offers are displayed
Special offers appear in 3 places:
On your Zillow listing, under the Request Tour button
On your company's listing widget (with a banner at the top left corner)
On the property's listing page (with a call out at the top)
Best practices
Keep the description short (less than 10 words)
Put the most important words first (e.g. $500 off first month's rent...)
Add the terms and conditions to the property's marketing description
