We've created a guided training program to help you get familiar with all the new platform. In this first part you'l get to learn at your own pace. Then we'll meet on Monday to go deeper on key workflows and answer all your questions.

The training is split into 6 modules, each covering a key area of the platform. Total training time is approximately 37 minutes.

Use the RentEngine phone app to call/text prospects, give accompanied showings and update the CRM

From your Safari browser, go to app.rentengine.io and log in
Go to the Command Center tab (on the left)
Click on the "box with the up arrow" on the Safari browser
Finally watch the screen recording called linked HERE to finish installing
Make sure to turn on notifications by clicking the bell at the bottom right!

Reset location permissions to start your showing

Can't start your showing?

This guide will show you how to re-enable location permissions to start your showing.

You might be here if you:

Accidentally blocked location access by tapping too quickly
Didn't see the prompt
The system isn't letting you start the showing

On iPhone or iPad

Open the Settings app on your device.
Scroll down and tap Chrome.
Tap Location.
Set to Allow.
Go back to Chrome and refresh the page.
Restart the scheduling and press Allow again, if prompted.

Alternatively:

Open Chrome and visit the site.
Tap the location icon on the left of the address bar (only appears if settings were previously changed).
Turn permissions on. If the permission never appeared, follow the steps in Apple’s guide for Chrome.

On Android

Open the Settings app on your device.
Tap Apps > See all apps (if needed).
Select Chrome.
Tap Permissions > Location.
Select Allow only while using the app.
Go back to Chrome and refresh the page.
Restart the scheduling and press Allow again, if prompted.

Alternatively:

In Chrome, tap the ⋮ menu and click Settings.
Go to Site settings → Location
If the site is listed under Blocked, tap the site → choose Allow.

Posting to Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist

With our new update, you can one-click copy your property info and photos into these platforms. Keep reading for the step-by-step guide

Facebook Marketplace

Grab everything you need for your FB Marketplace listing:

Head to the Properties tab
Click Take Action > Post to FB/Craigslist
Press Copy to Clipboard and then Download Images
Now just create a new rental listing in FB Marketplace and add both of these

Most interested leads will schedule a showing directly with the link at the top of the marketing description, but if they don't you can reply back in Messenger with the link for them to schedule. We also included your custom phone number at the bottom so they can text you directly into the Command Center

Note: As of 2022, Facebook Marketplace no longer allows businesses to post rental listings via their business page

Craigslist

Grab everything you need for your Craigslist listing:

Head to the Properties tab
Click Take Action > Post to FB/Craigslist
Click the Craigslist button at the top
Press Copy to Clipboard and then Download Images
Now just create a new rental listing in Craigslist and add both of these

Transferring SentriLocks to RentEngine

This guide will walk you through the step-by-step process of transferring your SentriLocks to RentEngine

After signing on with RentEngine, your account rep will share the onboarding checklist which includes a place to add all your SentriLock serial numbers
After submitting your onboarding checklist, you will receive an email to activate your SentriLock account. This will require a password to be built, a PIN to be established, and 3 security questions to be answered. Once that is complete, you will need to download the "SentriKey Real Estate" app from the Apple or Android app store.

Use your email as the SentriKey ID and the password you just set up above. Acknowledge the legal language and follow the prompts on the app screen. Make sure you confirm Bluetooth to be used but you can bypass Agent Safety setup, you can bypass Facial/Fingerprint ID.
On the transfer date you chose, all Generation3.5/3.6 SentriLocks will need to be opened using the SentriKey app. This includes the active ones on vacancies and inactive ones at the office. This step needs to be done within 14 days of onboarding and must be complete before you can use the device in RentEngine. Follow the instructions below to open each device with the SentriKey app.
