Assign multiple showing agents to a property

You can assign one or several agents to an accompanied (agent-led) showing and let RentEngine's Smart Scheduling route it to the best agent

Where to set it

When activating or editing the property:

1. Select Accompanied Showing.
2. In Showing Agents, choose one or more teammates from the dropdown.
3. Make sure the Smart Assign is checked

How it assigns showings

One agent assigned

Prospects can only book at times that work for that single agent (based on the agent’s showing windows, connected calendar, and drive time rules).

Multiple agents selected + Smart Assign (recommended)

RentEngine picks the best agent for each booking using: each agent’s showing windows, connected calendar availability, and drive time between showings.

If two agents are equally eligible, RentEngine assigns at random.

Multiple agents selected without Smart Assign (not recommended)

The showing is assigned to all selected agents and everyone is notified. Use only if you intentionally want every agent alerted for every booking.

Tips

• Keep each agent’s calendar connection, showing windows, and service area/drive time up to date for the best assignments.
• Use Smart Assign whenever possible to reduce conflicts and no-shows while balancing workload.
• When you select a Subteam, RentEngine will add all the subteam members as agents, you'll need to check off the ones that will not be agents for that listing.
