How to Set Up Multifamily Properties and Floorplans
This guide will show you how to set up and activate your Multifamily Properties and Floorplans. This is required for all buildings with 24+ units that have a paid marketing contract (with Zillow, Apartments.com, etc.). Be sure to read until the end so you can connect your vacancies to the new Multifamily Properties and Floorplans.
Go to the Properties tab in the main menu.
At the top of the page, switch from “Units” view to “Multifamily Properties”
Add the Property Name, Street Address, Number of Units, Structure Type and Year Built.
Write a short Property Description.
Select the property's Amenities from the dropdown.
Upload photos of the Properties. To change the order of how they appear, drag and drop them inside the box.
Add the property's Office Hours, Special Offers or current Open Houses, if applicable.
Click "Add Property"
To add a floorplan, switch to the "Floorplans" tab at the top of the page.
Click “Add Floorplan” and connect it to the relevant multifamily property.
You can include:
Floorplan name
Number of bedrooms and bathrooms
Total units that share this floorplan
Minimun and maximum square footage
Market rent
Floorplan-specific amenities (e.g., balcony, washer/dryer)
Any special offers for that layout
Each unit within the building needs to be associated with a Floorplan, so be sure to set up the relevant Floorplan before activating new vacancies at that building.
Finally, you'll need to connect your active vacancies to the relevant Multifamily Property and Floorplan.
Navigate to the relevant property and click Take Action > Edit Property
Then at the bottom of the first page, select the applicable Multifamily Property and Floorplan from the dropdown (example below). Then just press Next to save your update.
Set up a Multifamily Property
Go to the Properties tab in the main menu.
