Subteams and User Assignments

This guide will show you how to assign both properties and prospects to your team members.

Subteams are teams that you assign specific properties to. For example, if half of your portfolio is managed by team A and the other half is managed by team B, you would have two subteams

User Assignments are when you want to assign a prospect to a specific user(s). This is useful if you want to assign leads to individual leasing agents.

User Assignment is only recommended for larger teams that want to divide leads between team members. It can be used in combination with Subteams

Subteams



Admins can create and edit their Subteams in **Settings** > **Team**



Then when you activate new properties, you can assign it to the right Subteam on the Access Instructions page



Subteam Notifications



Everyone on the Subteam will get call & text notifications from prospects who are interested in one of their properties.

They will also get notifications from new prospects who haven't chosen a unit yet.

User Assignments



You can assign prospects to a a specific RentEngine user via the Command Center. Click **Action** > **Assign to User** > **Submit**

Here you can add Users and remove Users.



User Assignment Notifications



If a User(s) is assigned to a prospect, only they will get the call/text notifications.

If no specific User(s) is assigned to a prospect, everyone on the Subteam will get the notifications

Filtering



By default, the Command Center and Showings Calendar will filter to show you the relevant prospects, based on your Subteam and any prospects specifically assigned to you.

You can use the User Filter to see prospects/showings assigned to other team members.
