Why am I not getting showing events on my Google or Outlook calendar?

Overview

When a showing is scheduled, RentEngine sends an email to the showing agent with a calendar invite from [email protected].

This automatically adds the event to your Google Calendar or Outlook Calendary. If events are not appearing, there are a few common causes.


If events are not appearing in your Google or Outlook calendar

  1. Confirm your notification settings

    1. Go to Settings > Communication > Notifications.

    2. Make sure the Showing notifications section is turned on (Accompanied Showing Scheduled, Showing Canceled, Showing Reassigned to Me)

  2. Check spam, junk, filters rules, and promotions folders

    1. Search for emails from [email protected].

  3. Check with your IT team

    1. If emails arrive but invites do not populate your calendar, your organization may be blocking external calendar invites.

    2. Ask your IT team to whitelist [email protected] in Outlook or Google Workspace.
