Edit & Create Scheduled Follow-ups
Lead nurturing is central to RentEngine's goal of maximizing your conversion rates. The system includes a series of scheduled follow ups, triggered based on the exact behavior of the prospect.
This guide will show you how to view, edit, or manually create these custom follow-ups.
You can control the message and timing of automated lead nurturing from within the Command Center.
Edit or cancel a scheduled follow-up
Step 1: Go to the Command Center
Find the prospect you want to follow up with and click into their profile.
Step 2: Open the follow-up panel
In the bottom right corner, click “See scheduled follow up.”
Step 3:
To edit: Update the message and choose a new send time
To cancel: Click the red X to remove the follow-up
This box also indicated what the next step is after the scheduled follow-up. If the prospect doesn’t respond after a sequence of follow-ups, they’ll automatically be marked as "Unresponsive".
If no follow-up is scheduled, you can manually create one by clicking “Create Follow-Up” in the bottom right corner of the prospect's profile.
Then:
Write your custom message
Set a future date and time to send
Click "Create Follow-up"
When are follow-ups disabled?
Follow-ups will not be automatically scheduled for active prospects if:
- The prospect has submitted a rental application
- The prospect has multiple active units of interest
- The unit is On Hold or Waitlist
- The prospect has recently sent an text or called
