If you're not receiving inbound calls from prospects in the RentEngine mobile app, walk through the steps below.
Check your subteam assignment
If your team uses sub teams, make sure you're on the sub team that covers the property the prospect is calling about. Calls are routed based on the property's assigned sub team — if you're not on that sub team, the call won't ring to your device.
Check Do Not Disturb in the RentEngine app
Open the RentEngine app and navigate to the Settings tab. Check that Do Not Disturb is turned off. If it's already off, try turning it on and then back off again.
Update the RentEngine App
Make sure you have the latest version of the RentEngine app downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.
Check your phone's notification settings
In your phone's settings, navigate to the settings for the RentEngine app. Make sure notifications are turned on. You can try turning them off and then back on again.
For Android: check Deep Sleep settings
Android's Deep Sleep feature can restrict inbound calls from coming through. Follow these steps to remove RentEngine from Deep Sleep:
Go to Settings → Apps → RentEngine → Battery → Unrestricted
Go to Settings → Battery → Background usage limits → remove RentEngine from Sleeping apps and Deep sleeping apps
Force close and reopen the app
If you've tried all of the above and calls still aren't coming through, reach out to RentEngine support via the black chat button and we'll help troubleshoot.
