We've created a guided training program to help you get familiar with all the new platform. In this first part you'l get to learn at your own pace. Then we'll meet on Monday to go deeper on key workflows and answer all your questions.

The training is split into 6 modules, each covering a key area of the platform. Total training time is approximately 37 minutes.

Accompanied Showings and Smart Scheduling

This guide will show you how to set up Accompanied Showings and use the new Smart Scheduling features

Before you get started, make sure your Smart Scheduling is enabled and your showing agents have set up their showing windows and calendar.

Activating a new vacancy & agent assignment

During unit activation, on the second page you'll get to choose the showing type. Select Accompanied Showing Choose the team member(s) who will be showing the property from the dropdown
If you select just one showing agent, prospects will only be able to schedule at times that work for that agent (based on showing windows, connected calendar, and drive time)
If you select multiple showing agents, you have the option to enable Smart Assign (recommended)
Smart Assign will pick the best showing agent based on each agent's showing windows, connected calendar and drive time. If they are exactly the same, it will pick an agent at random If you select multiple showing agents and don't use Smart Assign, all showing agents will be assigned and notified of the showing (not recommended)

Transferring SentriLocks to RentEngine

This guide will walk you through the step-by-step process of transferring your SentriLocks to RentEngine

Send an email to ops@rentengine.io with the list of serial numbers for all your SentriLocks
Upon getting the confirmation from SentriLock, you will receive an email prompting you to complete the registration. This will require a password to be built, a PIN to be established, and 3 security questions to be answered. Once that is complete, you will download the "SentriKey Real Estate" app from the Apple or Android app store.

Use your email as the SentriKey ID and the password you just set up above. Acknowledge the legal language and follow the prompts on the app screen. Make sure you confirm Bluetooth to be used but you can bypass Agent Safety setup, you can bypass Facial/Fingerprint ID.
On the transition date, all Generation3.5/3.6 SentriLocks will need to be transferred in this way. This includes the active ones on vacancies and inactive ones at the office. The newer SentriGuard (black/grey) boxes should be transferred via Bluetooth when convenient, but it is not necessary on the transition date

To get started, this guide will show you how to activate and set up your new account.

Activating your Account

Navigate to app.rentengine.io
Login with your work email address
Check your email inbox for the access link. You can enter the code in the login screen or click the direct link. Please check your spam folder if you don't see the email arrive.
Enter your full name and company name

Configure your Portfolio Settings

On the left bar, navigate to Settings > Portfolio
Here you can configure the default settings for your new vacancies, including pet policy, move-in fees, monthly fees and more. Keep in mind that these will be the defaults but you can override them at the property-level
Once you've adjusted these, please press Save at the top-right

Configure your Company Settings

On the left bar, navigate to Settings > Company
Here you can set the public-facing branding for your account. On the right-side, add your company info and logo as you'd like it to appear in owner leasing reports
At the bottom-left you can set the default map location and zoom for your new website widget, then press Apply
Once you've adjusted these, please press Save at the top-right
