Completing Accompanied & Guided Showings

If you're doing an Accompanied showing or if you're walking the prospect through the property virtually, you'll need to log the Showing in the Command Center


Starting the Showing


  1. When the prospect arrives, find them in the Command Center and open their profile (make sure you've selected the correct unit-of-interest from the dropdown above their name)
    1. If you're on the phone app, click the "house" button at the top right to open Unit Info
  2. If you've connected a lockbox to this unit in RentEngine, press Generate Code to show the access instructions
  3. Once they prospect is in the unit, start the showing by pressing "Start Showing"
  4. See below if they can't enter the unit

Completing the Showing

  1. Log the prospect feedback by pressing "Showing Complete" (it will appear after you press "Start Showing")
    1. Be sure to include detailed feedback on what they liked, didn't like, maintenance issues and what it would take for them to apply today.
  2. Finally, choose the next step that the prospect wants and press the black "Complete Showing" button
    1. Send Application to Prospect: this will automatically text the application link to the prospect, update their prospect status to Application Sent to Prospect and start the corresponding follow up sequence
    2. Still deciding: this will automatically text the prospect that you're here to help answer any post-showing questions, update their prospect status to Still Deciding and start the corresponding follow up sequence
    3. Not Interested: this will automatically text the prospect a link to the other similar vacancies you have nearby and update their prospect status to Not Interested

Showing Failed

  1. If the prospect can't enter the unit, click the arrow to the right of "Showing Complete" and then select "Showing Failed"
  2. Click "Showing Failed"
  3. Input any notes on what happened
  4. If you know when the problem will be resolved, you can re-schedule the showing within this flow

Missed Showing

  1. If the prospect doesn't arrive for the showing, click the arrow to the right of "Start Showing" and then select "Missed Showing"
  2. Click "Missed Showing"
  3. If they have given you a day/time to come back, you can re-schedule the showing within this flow
