Troubleshooting "Entry Error" on Your CodeBox Lockbox
If your CodeBox lockbox displays "Entry Error" when entering a code, it typically means one of the following issues has occurred:
The serial number of the Codebox at the property doesn't match the serial number of the Codebox connected to the property in RentEngine. If so, please update the property in RentEngine to be linked to the correct Codebox
The date and/or time set on the lockbox is incorrect
The code being used was generatedFew readersHow to Replace Codebox Battery
This guide will show you how to replace the battery in a Codebox if it shows "Low Power" or doesn't turn on.
To replace the battery, you will need a flathead screwdriver and a new 9V battery

This guide will show you how to give secure lockbox access to your Trusted Contacts and 3rd party vendors
Within the Lockboxes tab, press the Trusted Contacts button at the top right
Click Add Contact and enter their name and phone number
They are now enrolled in the Trusted Contacts program and can generate codes on-demand
When they arrive to a property, your Trusted Contact simply needs to text the serial number of the lockbox to (920) 274-0111

Connect your Codebox account
Before you can use your Codeboxes in RentEngine, you'll need to connect your account.
Head to the Lockboxes tab and press Add Lockbox.
Choose Codebox as the type and then click "Add Account".
