This guide will show you how to re-enable location permissions to start your showing.

The system isn't letting you start the showing
On iPhone or iPad
Open the Settings app on your device.
Scroll down and tap Chrome.
Tap Location.
Set to Allow.

Starting the Showing
When the prospect arrives, find them in the Command Center and open their profile (make sure you've selected the correct unit-of-interest from the dropdown above their name)

If you're not seeing available showing times for a property in RentEngine, there are a few key settings to review. Follow these steps to confirmFew readersRequire manual approval before a showing is scheduled
When the Showing Approval feature is enabled, all showing requests will first go into a Showing Pending status.
A property manager must approve or cancel each showing before it is scheduled. This feature provides more control over scheduling.
Prospect Experience
When a prospect submits a showing request, after selecting the date, time, and going through the prescreening questions, they will see a confirmation page indicating that their request has been received.

When switching a property's showing method in RentEngine (e.g., from accompanied to self-guided, or vice versa), it's important to follow the correct steps to avoid disrupting existing appointments or confusing prospects. Here's the recommended process:
Cancel Existing Showings
Go to the Showings Calendar and cancel all existing scheduled showings for the property.Few readersMark a previous showing as missed or canceled
Use this when a showing already happened (or should have happened) and you need the record and automations to match what really occurred.
Prospect status vs events (how they work together)
You’ll see statuses and events either at the top of the prospect card in Command Center (above their name) or in the conversation, shown as light blue boxes (like “Showing Canceled” in the screenshot below).

Where to set it
When activating or editing the property:
Select Accompanied Showing.
In Showing Agents, choose one or more teammates from the dropdown.
Make sure the Smart Assign is checked

For accompanied showings, prospects will receive a text to confirm the showing. They'll just need to click the link and press Confirm.
If they don't confirm within the notice period, the showing will be automatically canceled. You can edit the notice period via Settings Showings Company
